Nightwick Abbey - Session 132 - A Short Delve With Psychosexual Implications

Session 132 - 16th of Shocktober 1399

Downtime in the Village

Liminal, while carousing, performs some blasphemous drunken foolishness and loses all of his hireling over the week.

Ulf hires the heavily scarred barber Elgar to beef their ranks.

Into the Abbey 

We delve down to level 4 without incident, intending to continue our explorations.

We go north to where we explored last time, to a room filled with a misty air.

Dangers in the Mist 

As we stop for a rest turn, Cuncze cries out.

"Something in the mist tried to touch my face!"

Thekla throws a Fireball into the mist and it goes up in flame.

As it does so, we briefly see the outline of three figures, obscured in the mist, before they too are obliterated by the Fireball. 

Unbothered, In Our Lane, Flourishing

We continue on and make it to a door we haven't been through before and Blossom listens, hearing nothing.

It opens to a T-shaped room with three statues, one in each end. The statue across from us depicts the Queen of Hell Asmodeah wrapped around the Lady (a holy figure in the Church) like a serpent. The Lady seems into it.

Liminal pokes his head into the room to look at the other two statues.

Two white beams shoot out of the other two statues, aimed at Liminal's head, but he jerks out at the last minute.

This Better Not Awaken Anything in Me...

There stands a statue of St. Gax and one of St. Simon, both wrapped up by Asmodeah. They look unnerved.

A key is carved onto St. Gax's hip.

Liminal presses the key and a compartment opens up on the statue.

A ring is inside. Runes engraved on the ring mark it as magical.

Liminal searches the other statues but finds nothing.

Due to outside forces, the session gets ended early. We return to the village with a magic ring and 90xp each.
